Galco VSH comes with either dual speed loader pouches or drop pouch.Check with Optics Planet for the best prices.Go on the Galco web site for better info.

I believe Inspector Callahan and I used a Bianchi X15. At least I did. However there is no speed loader pouch.
Nope, not the X15, Harry carried his 29 in a J.M. Bucheimer holster. That holster design is now available from Lawman Leather Goods and it ain't cheap.

Here's a rig with options:

Ringler Custom Leather | Ringler Custom Leather

I saw Von and his sidekick wearing them at a gun show with big hoglegs filling the spaces. Looked mighty comfortable.

I can vouch for the quality of Von's work. Here's the pancake he made for my 940.

And his Automag in an X15 :-)

And his M29 shoulder holster was by Bucheimer's sister company in L.A., Bucheimer-Clark, that was formed by a joining with Earl Clark's company inherited from his father E.E. Clark, prominent holster inventor. Different designers, different founding dates, different product lines, different factories, etc., etc. See a better explanation in the book Holstory.

Underarm shoulder holsters are a really really bad choice for big guns including the M29. For hunting, use the bandolier style instead - Bianchi makes the only good one - or a crossdraw belt holster, of which Bianchi makes the Cyclone and Galco makes a copy.

Shoulder holsters are for small pistols. Compact size, light in weight. Film actors only wear their concealment sets when the scene exposes it. Its why propmasters and costumers ike easy on and off paddle holsters and shoulder holsters. Not real life.

I used to use the X15 for a 6" Python; great gun and a great rig.

Don't like the bulk of speed loaders so I'd toss a Speed Strip into my pocket if I thought I might need it.

Fortunately, I never did.

I could not have said it better myself. Very good advice.

I like shoulder holsters for heavy, long barrel hand guns. I have carried a 6 in. Python and 6 and 6 1/2 in. "N" frames many hours and miles. The weight doesn't pull my pants down, the barrel is not digging in the seat when I sit and it's easy to keep the gun covered so it doesn't pick up trash when in the woods. What's not to like? Larry

I found the vertical shoulder holster is the best especially for a long barrel. Horizontal is only for very small guns otherwise either the barrel or butt or both are going to stick out. Vertical holsters ride and hide much better. I gave away my horizontal holster.

OK, the OP title is about a shoulder holster, the text mentions a cross draw. No mention of intended purpose. HUH?????

I carried a twin to the OPs handgun in a Sariland 100/101 (one was revolver, one was semi-auto, no longer remember which is which) while hunting for decades and loved it. Even retained the gun when I found myself hanging upside down. Concealment under even a light jacket was good. Speedloaders belong on the belt, not hanging in your armpit.

With due respect to Mr. Nichols, I've found the Cyclone a neat idea poorly executed-at least for K frames. For hunting, the chest mount holsters may be close to the most practical. Or, a separate gunbelt with holster and speedloader pouches. I will conceed that the nickname for shoulder holsters (bra) is often well deserved. Many are ill designed and become uncomfortable.

I use the Galco " Miami Classic which can be had with Dump Pouches or Speed Loader Pouches. It is comfortable and readily accessible.

I tried a horizontal rig for my 29 but had to cut holes in my jackets and folks walking behind me got upset. Joe
