Could anyone please tell me the year of manufacture for a no dash model 36 with serial numver 321470? Thank you in advance. Sorry for the typo in the title.

Hard to tell exactly, between 1962-1969 is as close as I can come.

I would narrow it down between 1963 to '64; late 1961 was in the 230,000 range and 1965 in the low 400,000s. Someone here probably has one with a factory letter or keeps track of SNs privately and may get you closer to a specific time.

Model 36 #3538xx shipped in September, 1964, so your would probably be earlier that same year. But, of course, S&W did not ship in serial order, so it is not an exact science. However, that will put you in the right ballpark.
