I've been carrying my very nice Model 36-1 3" in a Side Guard IWB holster. Very comfortable to carry.
I just wish that S&W made was a Model 40 (or maybe it would be a Model 440) 3" barrel. A DAO J frame, not stainless, not .357, with a 3" barrel would seem like a good carry gun.
An Airweight with a 3" barrel might be problematic in terms of some of the issues that the 642/442 have with cracked frames.
I can almost carry this in a pocket holster, except for the hammer.
