This video is relatively well done and can assist if the
true need arises for a complete teardown. I see
true need as being to replace a broken internal part, severe malfunctioning due to a known faulty internal part, or if this would be your last wish before dying - lol.

I would venture to say that a full disassembly for
most M41 owners (unless warranted for a specific purpose) would definitely cause more harm than good and I would suggest avoiding it unless you have absolutely no other choice. Even if there was a true justified need to do so, this one is not for the faint of heart and needs lots of mechanical ability, dexterity and common sense in regard to working on firearms.
That said, I have done a teardown of a M41 only once and that was 30+ years ago with a friend who stared to do it and ran into lots of trouble. I figured it out the hard way, (no video at that time) but it took many hours and was on the stressful side to say the least. When I asked my friend why he attempted this, he told me he wanted to do a complete cleaning. Well, I think he learned a good lesson here and it taught me a lesson as well - only do this if there is a specific reason too and without that specific reason the M41 does not need a complete teardown.
Just so ya know.... I am not shy about taking apart, working on, or repairing any firearm (or any mechanical devise) if needed. I've done this so many times to very complicated firearms such as a Browning B25 Superposed - not something I'd do on a daily basis - but did it because it got soaking wet when caught in a severe downpour while on a hunt. I did NOT want that one to develop rust internally! I have partially disassembled my M41 for specific parts replacements several times and it is not a big deal but would do this complete teardown only for a specific warranted reason.
The M41 can be cleaned and lubricated just fine without need to do this and under normal circumstances should only be field stripped. Firing pin removal (for cleaning) once in many thousands of rounds is not a big deal, nor is replacing the extractor or adjusting the trigger pull weight. The M41 does not require gobs of lubrication and like a fine watch will only need a very small amount in vital areas. For regular routine maintenance a field stripping is all one needs to do. OK - this is getting long winded but my intention here is to hope some owners don't do this for fun on a rainy afternoon unless they are very talented, have patience, mechanical skills and a good grasp of working on firearms.
Still, a great video and I wonder how long it will be allowed to remain on Youtube. Thanks for posting it!
