I came across a model 41 in Nickel finish. I'm trying to get a fair market price to determine what I should be paying for it. Any help is appreciated. Serial TAD xxxx

About 1984 vintage. These can get up over 1,000.00. There are several variables for pricing, counter weights, sights, barrel length, etc. How about pictures or more details.

model 41

It has a 5 1/2' barrel, adj. rear sights, I think it's a partridge front sight, no muzzle break, no counter weights that I can tell and since I don't know how to put a pic on here I will upload it to My Revolvers album in my profile. You can see it there. they are there now.

That is very nice. I would be suspicious that it is factory nickel plate. As far as I know; the Model 41 was not cataloged in nickel. That is not to say that there are none out there though and I do not know how much it effects the pricing. If factory nickel plate it may command a premium but aftermarket nickel would probably drop the value some.

It being a nickel is rare to me. I think you have a real valued piece there. 35th BBGV puts it at 1,150.00 in 100%. But there's something else to know because it's nickel. Maybe someone else can give you more on it being nickel.

I went back to look at the pictures again. It looks like a legitimate original finish in the pictures.
I hope you have the real thing there. I think you have a great find!
