I just picked -up a nice used mod 41. Don't know much about them. I know all 22's have different picks about the ammo they like, but what do most shooters use- standard or high velocity in the 41's.
Thanks Coop

You can do a search on this forum and read endless posts on this question. It's best to shoot standard velocity, I like CCI.

We just bought one new at Smith's Springfield store and the rep. there recommended we use CCI Minimags. We have, and the results have been outstanding. No jams, ftfs, and the gun is as accurate as is advertised.

You have purchased what was in the past the best 22 bulls eye gun that was made from the box I ever shot we used reg 22 long in NRA 3 gun competition...Nice purchase I actually had on in the late 60s that doubled once in a while I needed to clean it more often which i might add was not the trend for 22s in those days,,,we were not up to snuff and believed old shooters tales.

These are match-grade pistols meant for competition and standard velocity ammo should be used exclusively. The best accuracy is derived from ammo like Eley Tenex, if you can afford it.
