Can I get some help identifying date of manufacture for my S&W 457 Serial# VLM2275. Thanks very much for your help.

If you call S&W Customer Service and give them the serial number they will give you at least the year and more likely month and year it was manufactured. A couple of times I've got the exact date.

I did this Monday for my new to me 915. I also asked if they had a recoil spring and they did. They are mailing that out to me at no charge.
