I am currently looking to trade a S&W model 49. I received this 49 in a trade from a member here and put 50 rounds through it. It was sent back to S&W by the previous owner in April 2014 to have the BC gap tightened. S&W replaced the hand, re timed it and installed a new extractor rod. I was provided the receipt for said work and can provide it upon request. It does have some spotting in the finish but there is absolutely NO rust or pitting on this gun. Clean in and out. It locks up tight and the trigger is smooth. Floating "J" serial dates it to 71-72. Stocks number to gun, no box or paperwork. I would like to trade for a used 9mm or 45acp Glock but will consider any and all offers. Police trade ins ok. I can add a little cash for the right deal but would rather a straight trade for something.
