Hi folks, I'm looking for a 52-2 (or 52-x) brass catcher, the type that attaches under the grip, with the grip screw securing it via one of 2 holes in a dimpled mounting tab. It has a small black mesh bag attached to a wire frame. Its a very simple setup, but I can't find them anywhere.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Model 52 pistol brass catcher.

I am from Belgium and found a S&W model 52-2 pistol with this ergonomic grip with brass catcher ! Hand made ? I don't know. Are there in de USA also brass catchers for this pistol? The pistol serial number is: A106XXX

This brass catcher is from someone of Canada. It's hand made.

I just wave goodbye to the brass on my 52-2. I would search on Ebay if you want a brass catcher for one.

dakota1911: thanks for your replay.
But i am not looking for a brass catcher. The one in de second post is from me.

I always loaded soft enough the brass didn't go very far (3' or so), and after my back surgeries I took my long handled "grabber" to the range and used it to pick up the brass.

Any time I'm shooting a semi auto I expect about 5-10% brass loss. It's just part of shooting.
