Privi Partisan / PPU makes .22 Magnum ammo and at very attractive prices compared to what vintage Remington or Peters .22 Magnum ammo was selling for prior to PPU making new production ammo.
Well, it used to be prior to the current madness. I just checked Ammoseek and they show a box of 50 for $99.99. I think it used to be around $26.00/50. I have not chronographed any but I suspect it is not loaded quite as hot as the original ammo.
The issue with reloading is that it takes a .222" diameter bullet, or in a pinch the .223" Sierra 45 gr. Hornet bullets are OK. Hornady used to make the .222" 40 grain bullets that were perfect. The problem is that all the bullet manufacturers ramped up to make .224" and heavier weight bullets to feed all the new AR-15 type rifles and suitable bullets for the Jet are hard to find.
