Would a model 48 22 mag cylinder work for a 53?
I know the 22 lr won’t but is the a cylinder length diff for the 22 mag?

Cylinders on the Models 17 and 48 are the same length (1.62").
Model 53 cylinders are almost 1/16" longer.
