Model 59/459 Barrels

I own a Model 59.

If I were to find a replacement model 59 / 459 barrel, would that just be a drop in replacement or would some fitting by a gunsmith be required?

Welcome to the forum....

It would probably drop in, particularly if it's a "used" barrel. A new one may need the tab on the barrel hood fit slightly for length and width.
