It commemorated the 200th year of the old government armory or the 200th year since that armory opened and is marked 1794-1994. 500 were manufactured in 1994 serial numbered SAC001-SAC500. They were sold wearing the common Hogue finger groove rubbers. Unfortunately in my view the markings were applied in three different ways, roll stamping, laser etching and the deep “Arms for the Nation” lettering. Lew Horton ordered and distributed these .45s.
You can find good pictures of them in the various threads on mountain guns because they are mountain guns in every respect except for their markings. The only other batch of .45ACP mountain guns that I am aware of was made in 2000 with the not so popular MIM parts.
