Revolver shoots POA with ramp sight and 158 gr SWC, so it's one I'll keep.

I bought it used, and the frame has scratches made by a seat belt hook. I'd like to polish those out, but I'm unsure how to do it.

Also, if I don't use Fed SPP, I get one or two per cylinder FTF in DA. In SA, everything fires first time.

Would I need to do anything to remedy these FTF, other than use Fed SPP?

Check the strain screw and make sure it's tight. Sometimes people back it off for a lighter trigger pull...which is not the proper way to do it. Someone could have also replied the mainspring with a match mainspring that's too light to fire some ammunition.

Model 64s are great guns. I carried one for years as a LEO...and while I'm a Colt guy...that M64 was awesome.

Light firing strikes can be caused by several reasons, most of which cannot be diagnosed on the forum.

Assuming the mainspring screw is tight then the next thing I would check is if the firing pin strikes are hitting the center of all of the primers. It is common for old police revolvers to have timing problems from years of use. To check that post a picture of the back of the cylinder with all six fired cartridges still in it after shooting it D.A. Off center primer strikes are sign of timing problems. Correcting cylinder timing needs the knowledge of a gunsmith or a trip to the mothership. I have a old Model 10-6 that I sent back to the mothership and they replaced the hammer and trigger along with whatever else it needed for about $100.00 plus shipping.
