Model 66 Combat Magnum

Model 66 no dash. #2k540xx, looks like 1971. Luck and good timing were on my side yesterday, as I found this nice boxed 66. It has the early stainless rear sight also. Here are a few pics.

Really nice!!! I've seen a lot these overpriced lately, and not even the pre-1982 P&R ones. The Combat Magnums (19's and 66's) are really on a roll right now.

very nice. I picked up a Model 19-2 at a gun show over the weekend. Really like it. Great shooter.

That one is on my wish list. The only one I have seen locally was a 66-2 no box, just the gun, he wanted $795 for it.

That's about $200 too high. I passed, as he wouldn't even budge on the price.

I want one of these as my 19-4 is too pretty to shoot a lot and the 66 is easier to clean up.
