Model 69 grips

I just bought a model 69 .44 combat magnum and I love it, except for the grips. Has anyone else put aftermarket wood stag or ivory on this model yet?

Nope but I am thinking a set of Herrets Ropers would be just the thing on the 69.

You can check out Ahrends Grips on gripseller eBay. Quality wood grips that fit perfect. They have a lot to choose from.

It is not a 69 but a new 629, I opted for the nills although pricey. I find they balance out the gun espacially with the round butt. I borrowed a set first and tried them. Gun balances real nice now with the longer grip.

I put S&W 500 grips on mine bought from the S&W online store. Takes a lot of the bite out.
