Model 908 ??

The 908 is the "Value Line" version of the 3913/3914. There were two variations, the 908 and the 908s. The "s" was the stainless version.

Both are very reliable semi automatics. There were changes made to the 3913 design to reduce production costs.

All accessories and many parts of the 3913/3914 guns are interchangeable with the 908 and 908s.

Here is one I used to own. I sold it to buy my first S&W 3913.

I have no idea why the frame looks purple in this photo.

Here is the second 908 I bought, my brother owns it now.

Both of them.

There was also a 908s, a stainless slide on a frame finished to match. I had one of those too, for a few hours.

The 908 series models are nice pistols. I have the 908S (Stainless w alloy frame). Great pistols. The came factory with plastic guide rods and sites. Easily upgraded with Meprolite' sites and and a steel 3913 guide rod. I carry mine quite a bit.

Go for it, you won't be sorry. I've got one and it's my carry semi....perfect fit for my hand, good trigger and totally 100% dependable. Don't listen to nay-sayers....it's a very good gun.
