One of the benefits of being retired, is you can go shooting most any day you want.

Just got back from my old PD range. Had one of the department armors install a new set of Trijicon 3 dot night sights on my model 915. It's "box stock" except for a small strip of skater tape on the front portion of the grip frame. Ran 250 rds. of FMJ and H/P's down the tube. Not one hiccup. No FTF, no stovepipes, no nothing. Sights were dead on at 7, 10 & 15 yards. Felt great during rapid fire with multiple targets.

After today, I think the 915 might bump my model 64 snub and make it into permanent carry rotation. I'm really starting to like this "plain Jane, no nonsense, double stack 9".

Hi, BigLou. Sounds good, I like mine A LOT, too. How much did your Trijicons cost, the only thing I don't enjoy on mine is the sights, not very visible in low light.

$106 at my local FFL.

You have definately got a winner,I love mine, very accurate and dependable.Down the road I'm going to get night sights also.

I love my 915. Accurate, reliable, relatively light weight, and looks good doing all that. Enjoy yours! Regards 18DAI.
