I have a 1995 production 845 that does not have the modle # any where on it. Were all 95 modles made this way? It's just that I have not seen any late modle S&W's that did not have a modle # on it somewhere. Thanks for any help. Ragman.

i have one also, no. on box 845. great shape think it is called ,845 limited

The 845 wasn't a production gun so to speak, it came out of the Performance Center. Most all the PC guns are based on production models but due to their limited numbers and special features they are not marked as such.

Thanks Guy's. My 845 is marked on the box as a 845. The 845 modle of 1998 is so marked on the slide. I have 3 other PC guns and they all have a modle # on them. I have looked at a lot of PC guns and they all have modle #'s on them. Just wondering why the 1995 modle 845 did not or is it just mine????? Little things like this just seem to drive me nuts. Regards Ragman.
