Hey! I presently carry a Gen-3 Glock-17. However, I am looking at getting a new gun. I am looking to get a gun that gives me the most versatility (calibers and capacities). As I might be moving around in a few years.
Ideally, I would want a handgun that allows me to pick between .45 (if possible), .40 S&W, 10mm (if possible), .357 Sig and 9mm Luger. The other reason besides personal preference is the career I work in. Law enforcement and security is fluctuating between 9mm, .40 and .45 where I am located presently.
I am wondering if purchasing a .45 VTAC or M&P would give me that capability. I am also looking at Detonics' MTX, STI-Intl 2011 series and Glock platforms.
