Is there any detriment to using S&W 610 moon clips in a Ruger SRH? The hole in the clip on the Ruger that allows it to clear the hand is smaller than the S&W, so the Ruger clips won't work in the 610, but the 610 clips drop right in the SRH cylinder. The rounds keep the hole centered over the hand and the cylinder closes normally. There is a slight difference in clip thickness, .030" for the Ruger and .033" for the S&W. I've got a bunch of 610 clips, but only a few SRH clips.

If the clipped rounds will fit and and the hammer aligns, of course they'll work
