Every once in awhile I see an old Marine Corps. friend and just have to play this song for him...

Nothin' like them old songs that take you back; even if you weren't growin' up to it, it has the ability to make you appreciate what quality music is.

Just sayin'

Moonlight Serenade is my oldest daughter's favorite pop tune.

The middle one prefers Sinatra.

The youngest...the Eagles, the Beatles.

Go figure.

I grew up listening to Glen Miller. It doesn't get any better.

Still like The Beatles, Eagles, Lucinda Williams, John Coltrane, Elvis, John Hiatt, George Jones, Ray Price, Willie Nelson, etc.

Music is good.

Best, Rick

Just listened to it again, so many layers! Thanks.

I really enjoy the music from that era, Big Band Swing.

My favorite female was Bea Wain, can listen to her for hours belting out tunes.
