Thank you for the heads up. Not a bad price at all, so I ordered 500.

I was under the impression that internet ammo sales to NY had been stopped, in fact a different website had a "no sales to NY..." warning a couple of days ago. This order went through, and it appears that the ammo registration process in NY State will not take effect until Jan 2014.

BTW, this ammo is from Israel, so you can bet that factories all over the world are rushing to fill USA orders. :)

Heading to the range now with some of the Independence I got last week from Cabelas. I will report back, heard some good things.

Thanks for the heads up, I also got 500, even though I don't really need it. lol I actually tried for an even thousand but the site prevents more that one order per customer which is probably a good thing to prevent it from coming right back onto gunbroker at $1.50 a round.

i dont swage primer pockets but have found that a pocket uniform tool can clean them up to be useable!

Looks like it is all gone...Just shot 100 rounds at the range today, perfect...no issues at all.

I've been told this is Federal made ammo just reboxed. Don't know how true that is just internet hear say. (so you know for a flying fact that it's got to be true)

I have 500 rds already and the box says "Made in Israel". Not sure if Federal has manufacturing in Israel or not.

According to the boxes I got last week, this stuff is made in Israel...imported by Federal.

Forgive my newb: could you explain?

From the Dillon Precision Super Swage 600 product page:

Until now, reusing military brass, with its crimped primer pockets, has been a tedious task. The Dillon solution is a remarkably simple device that bolts to your bench and allows you to swage the primer pockets with speed and ease. The case is supported from the inside, so you won't be tearing the rims off the brass. A tool steel, hardened swage rod (easy to change from large to small primers) simply rolls the crimp away. No reaming is necessary. Our unique compound cam leverage system assures not only ease of operation, but perfect alignment with each and every round. Sound simple? It is and it works. What's more, it's inexpensive. The Super Swage 600 comes complete with large and small swage rods.
