I've had any number of .45's over the years from a bunch of different brands, Glock, Colt, Kimber, Springfield. This M&P has done everything just as well right from the box, but since I reload, it has brought another plus to the game. I don't know why, but many of its predecessors left me with dinged brass. Trying to tune ejectors, extractors, or recoil springs to correct the issue became tiring. This gun ejects brass that's clean and free of any damage. Even better, it really likes my reloads. A 230gr HP over 4.7gr of WST, she shoots to POA every time. I find myself carrying it in a shoulder rig more and more often these days. S&W did good!

They do seem to be very good guns, if you fancy a plastic .45. As to your reloads, I had not noticed my M&P being particularly gentle with brass, likely because all of my brass is already so badly dinged up, but I have to add that WST is nearly impossible to beat in .45 target loads. Good stuff! :)
