More three inch madness????

This little gem is a factory verified US Postal Service 3 inch 357 Magnum Ruger Speed Six.

Dude! That is so cool! I love an interesting provenance.

Thank you .... these guns were not marked USPS .... they only know the "serial number range". All the other Speed Six's were 2.75 inch.

If I remember right, the letter from Ruger named the postmaster it was delivered to and think it was in New Mexico.

I have one...a 624.

That is a beautiful M624! I have that same S&W Holster as well and carry it often... Especially now with China Virus... creeps are always creepin'. I apologize if I've posted these before in here as I've been away for a while. But here are my favorite handguns/Revolvers... An M624 LHS and an M629-5 Mountain BackPacker... Both love the heavy for caliber loadings and both love Hornady's FTX pills... 165grain in .44Special and 225grain in .44Magnum give stellar accuracy!

I only have this one model 36 Dash one. The picture doesn't do it justice. Its mint wood grips with numbers matching.

I've acquired some more three inch guns since this post was made.

Here are my three inch K frames. Sorry for the bad lighting in the pic. I moved and I don't have a good photo spot yet

This gun is pictured in the group of K frames above

It is a 10-8 round butt that started its life with a 4 inch barrel. I bought a 13-3 parts kit and converted it over to three inch 357 magnum. The model 13 barrel, cylinder, hammer, trigger and hand were used in the process.

Snagged a local model 66 for way less than market....made me feel all warm and fuzzy. The seller listed on a local gun trading site and was getting emails from all over the state. I was not first in line, but I was first with a local area code....long story short, sorry to all that missed out, but I was waaaaayyyy closer to the seller. I met him over at the SAFD fire academy and the deal was done.
