Movie: The Marine 2

Texas Star, Didn't mean to tear up your thread. Just wasn't too impressed with the first one(The Marine). Just watched the trailer you posted, It does look better than the first. I will likely watch it on cable when it gets there. I don't go to movies much anymore or the video store but thats a whole different subject.$$

Pete-

Thanks. Very kind of you to post that. Based on what I've read of the first Marine movie, it can't be too good. I just watched The Marine 2 again, and I quite like it, especially for the sort of film that it is. I'm glad to have it.

I've never seen Lara Cox

in anything that wasn't pretty good, although I haven't seen, "Voodoo Lagoon."

I'm glad that others here posted what they did about Ted DiBiase, but I still don't get his connection to The Six Million Dollar Man.:rolleyes: I know there's some wrestler named Stone Cold Steve Austin. Is he trading on the name that Lee Majors used in the Six Million Dollar Man TV series? I think he played Steve Austin. Been a long time since that show was on...I think his CIA boss was played by Richard Anderson, a very good actor for such roles, and I think he was also one of the few in Hollywood to admit to owning guns.

I think we've said all that needs to be said in this topic, but I'm bumping it up this one time, so that those who missed it earlier can see the pic that I added of Lara Cox, who has the female lead in the movie. I didn't find the photo that I wanted that I could post until the thread had pretty much run its course.

(See photo of Lara above. A pic of the male lead is on the DVD cover, shown elsewhere in this topic.)

I got the twin pack, The Marine and The Marine 2, at Walmart. I think the cost was $6.95. Both were pretty good action flicks, although they came across as propaganda pieces for the USMC. Based upon the movies you would think scout snipers were a cross between the SEALs and Delta Force.
