So I'll be moving down to Mississippi in a couple of weeks on PCS orders to work at the Stennis Space Center. I'll be staying in Diamondhead for the next few years and was wondering if anyone knows of a good range in the area. I mostly do pistol shooting, but I have a couple of ARs that I like to take out from time to time. I found a place in Pass Christian called "Gun Ho" online, but haven't found much else. Any recommendations are appreciated 👍

Excellent large range in D'Iberville just outside Biloxi. Don't know the name but a Google search probably will turn something up. Think it is on Highway 57.

I have been a member of Coast Rifle & Pistol Club for about 40 years and highly reccomend it. As Damn Yankee said, there have been some problems of late regarding the rifle range portion with rounds impacting beyond the long range berm. This has resulted in the rifle area only being on weekends while Range Safety Officers are present and monitoring the firing. This supposed to be only temporary until a solution is found (hopefully soon). The pistol and shotgun ranges are open 365 days a year from daylight until dark as they have always been except for a few special functions each year including the MS 4-H Club shooting competition. On the whole it is a very well designed and maintained facility.

I have been to the Gun-Ho indoor range in Pass Christian on a few occasions and have found it satisfactory though I prefer shooting outdoors. It has about 10 pistol firing points and 1 100 yard rifle lane in a separate room.

Oh, and tj, welcome to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, you are gonna like it here.
