To read many of these other threads might be a bit scary.
I finally had a chance to shoot my new rifle. Functioned flawlessly. Only had a chance to shoot 130 rounds. 50 mini-mag, 80 Federal copper plated hp.
Didn't really try for accuracy much but seems quite good. Was fun popping empty 12 gauge hulls with it.
I do think that the magazine loading could be a bit problematic and posibly induce a mlfunction if not done correctly.
Awesome rifle. I think the biggest problem with it is going to be keeping up with feeding the little beast. 22 ammo is still a bit difficult to come by here and don't want to deplete my stores too much.

Congrads!!! They are are alot of fun, and you can go through the ammo pretty quickly with it, lol. Lucky fo rme, .22 ammo isnt hard to get around here.

Good to hear.
I also seem to have one that works, and what a blast it is. I am north of 500 rds with minimal problems. I was doing a lot of lurking/reading on various forums before I made the purchase. Knowing what issues people were having helped me avoid a lot of the mistakes. With that said, I still had to try Remmy GB and got the same results as everbody else, a lot of FTF. Put Fed. bulk in and life is good. Having a great time teaching my 7 & 11 year old daughters the joy of recreational shooting.

Brother-in-law has over 7,000 rounds through his during the past 3 months...no problems. His 16 year-old son can't keep his hands off of it...too many red squirrels to take care of!

7,000 + rounds. Wish I had the time and weather to shoot mine more.:(

Truly a fun shooter.

I paid full msrp of $499, not e regret after hundreds of rounds.

Watch for odd stacking when loading clips, all I can figure people had issues with early on. Skip the Remington and Winchester cheapo bulk ammo, 7 Rems and 3 Wins failed for me after much testing.

Need to start a serial number thread on who had serious failures early on.

Well you just made my day. Not because the 15-22 didn't let you down (that's great too) but because you make an effort to leave some ammo on the shelf for others. Not once but like four times since this stupid ammo panic started I'd be 2nd in line at the ammo section and the guy in front of me would buy all of the caliber I wanted. I even politely asked a guy once if he could buy only 22 boxes of .45ACP (he probably ONLY had 12 thousand rounds in his bunker) instead of the 23 they had as I was going to the range w-my Kimber and only had 3 boxes...he just looked at me like I was the crazy one and carried on.

Good news any time a 15-22 shoots without an issue. Other manufacturers of .22 cal semi autos also have their problems.

As far as ammo goes, I try to leave some for the next shooter. But that doesn't always work in reverse for me. More times than not I find an empty shelf. I am seeing more ammo become available, so I guess many of the ammo ho's are getting stocked up and leaving some for the rest of the shooters.

Actually what I meant is that I don't want to deplete my personal stores of ammo. It wasn't until this last week that i've seen .22 ammo on the shelves for the first time in months. That particular store has a limit so I bought what I could just because it was there.
Its one of those times i'm glad I reload and had a fair stock of components set aside.
