It's really the sear (and the striker block) that make the big difference. I have both the Shield and the full size 2.0 9mm's. The full size trigger is outstanding as is. The Shield, IMO couldn't compare to the full size. And that was after shooting both, one right after the other, for easy a couple of thousand rounds. If I didn't have the FS to compare the shield to, I probably would have left it alone. But I do...
So I changed out the sear and striker on the shield ( I left stock springs). It took a little getting use to, but now I like it even better than the full size. I added the action enhancement trigger later on, because my wife loves me and gave it to me as a gift
I'm on the fence about what added value I got out of the actual trigger itself. But I do like it. There also was the issue of having to adjust the trigger bar, because of light strikes. Apex was great, I made the adjustments, and it's working flawless.
