Hello to all, I bought a MP-40 and after checking the types, I found that they come in a striker fire and others without. How can I tell the differance ?

Thank you,

I would guess all semi-auto M&P's are striker fired and all revolvers M&P's are hammer fired.... But is that your question?

The M&P line is long and broad.... In fact I retract my statement as the M&P 15-22 is a semi-auto and pin fired.

Thanks for your help. When I went to the S&W site and looked at the MP 40s. I saw that going from left to right, most were striker fire. The last one was not. Thats what my question was about.
Thanks,

ormmach:
Go to the S&W home page.
Click on the link for "Resources."
On that page, click on the link in the left margin for "Catalogs" under Customer Service.
The definitive answer to your question is in the catalog (Product Guide 1/3).
