MP 9mm CORE with compensator?

I have a SW MP 9mm CORE 5" barrel. I am interested at a compensator. I looked at Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties and found a 3 port carver cut type of compensator. Has anyone used one on a threaded barrel. I have to buy a barrel and the compensator. I would like to know how much this will reduce recoil. I also want to make Minor power factor. Not interested in Major power factor with the CORE. Any advised ???

Pretty difficult to get a compensator to work with Minor PF, not enough gas volume to get it to work efficiently. I have a Magnaported slide and barrel that I use with Minor PF and I like it a lot. I'm still playing around with a compensator and it's one of the things on my project list for the coming year, but for competition, it looks like the Magnaport is going to win out (at least for now).
