MP15 300 whisper/blk gas block size

I am planning on free floating my 300 whisper/blk but need to know the size of the gas block since I will have to put on a low profile one. Does anybody know the size? I don't have the gun with me to measure it.

Most AR gas blocks are 0.75. Bull barrels and big bores are 0.938. I'd bet yours is 0.75.

Like mentioned above, unless you have a bull barrel it should be 0.75"

If you don't already have a gas block picked out, Yankee Hill makes as awesome low profile gas block, specifically the 9381A...

Thanks, I was looking at the yhm 9384. Just curious what the advantage of the 9381 would be over the 9384. There is a big price difference there. I have never seen one with that dual wrap design.
