I'm looking at my M&P22 Compact and see the tab inside that creates the Magazine/Trigger Safety block. I'm thinking about clipping and smoothing that area so that it will function the same as every other one of my full size M&Ps.
I havent removed the trigger group yet and given the entirety of the trigger group a deep look but I was wondering if there's anything else I should be aware of that may need to be looked at and worked on. I know the internals are a bit different between the 22 pistols and the Full Sizes. Just looking for advice from some of you that have dug into the internals of the MP22C pistols.
Yes, I know. Modifying a pistol, Yada, Yada. I'm not trying to make it automatic. I'm not doing something to it that would make it blow up, Tacticool, or anything else unethical. I just want to make it work and function the same as all of my other M&Ps. I'm also considering clipping the paddles off the Thumb safety for the same reason.
