Much Needed Motorcycle Therapy

dad worked at United Refining for 20 years until he retired. his last day was 12-31-2009. he passed on 10-9-2010. I worked there after my freshman year of college as summer help. Warren is a nice area.
My Dad worked at Betts Incorporated for 44 years, when he started it was called Tiona Betts. Warren is nice, but I was chomping at the bit to go see the world so I left as soon as I graduated high school. Joined the Navy... and I ended up seeing a LOT of the world. Some of it was beautiful and inspiring... the majority of what I seen I just can't seem to unsee.

Sorry to hear of all the bad news... sometimes we're just lashed to the masthead, not much to be done except try to keep it together. You have my sympathy and condolences.

That bike will be a connection to your Dad, as has been said... I'll bet the first time you get it out on the highway you'll have the feeling he's there enjoying the ride with you... and he probably will be, too!

PS You might try getting it together without the Vetter fairing. Those things are heavy, and like a sail in any kind of wind. At least that's my experience with them.
