Several weeks ago I bought a 625-3 at a gun show. I had some moon clips from owning a 625 years ago. I wish I never sold it. But I got lucky and found this one.
The first thing I did was ask about loading tools on another thread here. A pic of one that was made with a block of wood and a old 1911 mag. I made several designs and came up with this. I thought it was pretty good until I actually googled full moon clip loader. Then I saw I pretty much copied one for sale. ha ha I made several case removers too and came up with these three. I'm still not done trying to make one that I like best. Although mine are copied from those shown on the previous mentioned thread. They are variations of it.

Here is my 625. It shoots very well. I won't say it shoots better than I do because that is a silly statement. Who ever heard of a gun shooting itself to prove to the shooter that it can shoot better than the shooter? But it shoots as well as I can shoot it.

Then following are pics of the tools I made. The case removal tool I like best is the smallest one. It is just a shortened version of the common one.

Here is the first loader and case removal tool I made. It does both. It is made from some type of plastic material I have sitting around. As you can see that the arm swings on a 1/4"bolt and pushes the cartridge in place with 5/8" bolt holding the moon clip. The 5/8" bolt rotates freely so the moon clip can be turned to load more cartridges. The removal tool is a 1/4 bolt in the arm. To remove the cases you pull up on the arm on the pivot bolt and it comes up high enough to clear the top of the cases. Then you pull up n the case removal bolt and swing the arm over the case, push the bolt down into the case and swing the arm out and the case comes with it.

This is by far my favorite tool made but it is bigger than the other tools I made. The smaller ones are handier and more portable.

The Mooner tool is by far the best moon clip tool I've used, and it's much faster than the 'one-at-a-time' lever type tools. Not cheap, but worth it!

I too have had two 625s, one 3" model of 1989 I foolishly traded off and my current 5" model of 1988 that isn't going anywhere. When I bought the first one I bought a demooner from CCW, California Competition Works. It works like a snap ring plier and removes two cases with each squeeze.

After I got rid of the first revolver I gave it to a friend who bought a M25 and I don't know what happened to it when he passed.

When I bought my current 625 I searched high and low for one of the CCW tools to find that they're out of business. Someone had planned to build the demooner after they folded up but I couldn't find anything other than an advertisement stating they planned to build them, no actual product.

Finally I located both the Mooner, which I don't use, and the demooner as a set on an EBay auction. I was lucky enough to be the only bidder and am now the happy owner of them. If you can find one it is by far the easiest and fastest demooner tool I've used.

I regularly shoot 45acp revolvers. The BMT is the best (and fastest) tool out there (IMO) for loading and unloading moonclips. I long ago forgot about the price.

Well shoot, that's all that matters I reckon! :)
And BTW your tools came out really nice.
