I have a 640-1 curious about the age serial is bud30xx I like the hogue grips but i dont like rubber grips does any one make wood grips to fit the are checkered and fit like the hogue rubber ones. Thanks

Hogue makes wood grips also.

Eagle grips make a nice set called the Secret Service Grip, smooth and checkered. Have a set of smooth ones on my 640 and love em. Slim profile and handels recoil well!

Eagle Secret Service grips are liked by a lot of shooters but I don't care for them on a M640. I like Badger grips much better and they control the recoil very well. (the combat grips)
