My 945-1 does not match up to the chart.

Saw a 945-1 variant chart in another thread yesterday and went to look at mine. I had not shot it in several years and kinda forgot what it really looked like. I did remember the BAM serial number. Anyway, here are the pictures of the gun showing that it is the wavy serrations with no "billboard". I have passed on several guns due to the fact that I do not favor the "billboard". Of course, I am sorry that I passed at this point in time, should have bought them all...

Here is the post with the variant chart. Other than the "billboard" issue it appears that the gun is a SKU 170222

I can tell you that it is rare and that my buddy had EXACTLY the same one, it was roughly 200 numbers higher in serial number than the one you've shown in the picture. I also found that it was not represented in that excellent grid, and so I posted a picture of it and a collector of them who used to be active on this site (but I haven't seen lately) contacted me in hopes of getting that specific pistol.

I am curious of the where, how and when you got your 945-1?

I got it off Gun Broker back in 2008 I think. It was unfired as far as I could tell. There used to be many 945-1's for sale on there and the wavy serrations caught my eye so I kept looking until I found one. Came with the aluminum case, but the outer case with the SKU sticker was not present. I think it is a very cool looking gun. I shot that sucker a lot when I first got it.

That's not the whole list of 945s.

CATALOG OF 945 PC VARIANTS - very LARGE accumulated reference material

The above link had pictures of almost all the variants along with 4 or 5 spreadsheets like the one you linked to of model variants but due to the greedy photobucket crash of 2017 they're all gone.

Performance Center 945-1

That link talks about your 945 model with some pics that still work.
