My cat sleeps with me

My cat sleeps with me all the time. Maybe he knows something I don’t?

I guarantee you he knows lots of stuff you don't.

The doc told me my blood cell count if off. He never leaves me alone. He hugs my arm and sleeps.

It's been proven for years that animals can sense things about humans and their internal workings and body chemistry.

You probably sleep better with that cat next to you and hugging your arm.

Count your blessings.

Aww! Kitties give the best hugs! Sometimes cats do sense medical stuff about you. They also use trained pets (mostly dogs) to interact with people who forget their insulin or folks who behave erratically when they need to take their meds.

I house & cat sit for a friend who travels. I tend to go to sleep on my side on the couch, and will wake up to find the cat stretched out on my other side asleep. She just makes herself at home.

I don't mind a bit. And no, she doesn't do that with her "family". She may know what I know about my cancer.

He is usually sleeping with me but he also sleeps on the wife’s pillow laying parallel to her with his head on her pillow.

This black cat is one of my tamed feral cats. I have seven cats now. I wish I had room to save more. Everytime I go bass fishing I find abandoned kittens in the woods.

I think my dog knew about my cancer before I did. I don't really recall when he started really tongueing my neck but doc said the tumor had likely been growing a couple of years. Seems about right & Dingo would always lick in the same spot.

I can't have my cat in the bedroom. Bennadryl helps my occasional allergy flare up but when the cat sleeps with me my eyes go full rebellion. Too bad... Sam is a generally friendly old guy. :(

Norwegian Forest or Mane Coon?

Generic long haired cat. Probably part Persian. Somebody dumped him when he was about 5-6 months old. He showed up at my front porch one day looking for food and water. He was very friendly and tame, so he wasn't a feral cat. I wasn't looking for a cat, but I guess he found me. Long, black silky fur. Who says black cats are bad luck?

I have absolutely no clue what you guys are talking about. . .

Satch, my recently adopted middle-aged gentleman cat, slept on my bed a couple of nights when he first got here, but abandoned the practice. Apparently I'm too restless a sleeper, and he's not a snuggler.

He certainly isn't diagnosing health problems--I have a bunch of them.

But I like him. Only once has he awakened me at 0500 demanding food. Now he is waiting in ambush when I leave the bedroom. Very polite.

Awww, you has to make woom for a wittle kitty kat? Nowwww, thats terrwible...
Try that with two old collie dogs! Two wonderful old, slobbery, crinkly, old fart bags of HAIRY, HOT dogs, with a paw, running in his dreams, ratta-tat-tatting into your side at 0200!
Would I trade them for a billion dollars? Not likely. If I had a cat, would it somehow work it's way into the dog-people puzzle on our bed every night? Without a doubt.
Critters are great...

Don’t have a cat but we do have two
Dogs. The youngest, a bichon named Beau, likes to sleep
Under the blankets with us.

He also insists on getting in the suitcase whenever we pack to go away. I think he wants to come with us.
