I've been into firearms for a long-time...even newer smith's and ruger's. Never had the bug for pre-locks until now. Still like my black rifles, stainless revolvers and polymer guns, but am really getting into beautiful old smith's.
This was my first purchase about a week ago. An almost like new 19-3 2 1/2". Slight turn line but otherwise almost perfect. Added some Culina grips and can't stop drooling over it.

A couple days later I found this beauty. A 29-4 4" with just a hint of a turn line. Appears to be unfired or maybe just a few rounds down range. The grips aren't original, but some Culina's will make it unique as soon as John gets to the N frames.

Next up will be a nickel pre-lock 19 with 2 1/2 barrel or a nice pre-lock 29 in nickel with either a 6" or 6 1/2 barrel.
Can't wait to shoot them. I can ring steel all day at fairly long distances with my 686 plus 6". Hoping these are great shooters too. I now have the bug...
