As some of you know I am new to the wheel-gun, so I bought a couple of revolvers in which I am sure will be the first of many more.

Just wanted to say thanks for the advice I found here on the site...

Revolvers are supposed to be blue steel or nickle and have wood stocks.:)

Oh, I don't know about that, but I do think there should be a small penalty (maybe 5 rounds of good .357 cartridges) for that second pic of the little M&P Centennial .357. I looked for something in focus in that picture until my eyes watered (didn't take long), and had to stop! :D

Those are nice revolvers you have there. Don't let anyone kid you too much. I'm sure they do their intended jobs very well. ;)

I wish technology could get there enough to add a 7th round to the 45 ACP revolvers.

You're off to a running start. Good calibers and just what one would expect for a guy with 45 in his handle. Be careful looking at and holding some of the older magnums and big bore stuff, it could cost you some more money.

Walker, the first $3000 went fast. They are all state of the art revolvers. Good choices, all you need now are lots of moon clips and a pocket to put the 340 in. Bob!!

I like the M&P 340, of course since I've got one just like it I might be a little biased. I had a Brazilian 1917 and sold it when somebody offered me more than I gave for it. I never could grow fond of the moonclips. If more companies would start offering .45 AutoRim (or if I ever get a reloader) I'd love to have a 625 though.

Between 10/6/2013 and 10/6/2014 I'm seriously thinking of getting a .45 ACP revolver.

I'll turn 45 on 10/6/2013 you see (and, yes, I'm hoping to buy another .44 mag the year before).

Threads like this only fuel my fire.

Buddy, those are perfect weapons if you ask me! Perfect, sexy, powerful revolvers. Gotta love the 45 ACP in a revolver, I need one!!! Great job picking performance center revolvers, I wish I had the cash for that right now!;)

Thanks for the kind words, even from the more traditionalists. Moon Clips are on the way with some more goodies... I sure had fun breaking these down last night and cleaning them before range time this weekend.

Any thoughts and or suggestions before I hit the range?

I know S&W makes the rail compatible with all the lights that are out there, but in this case, I think the design of the rail could be refined to maintain the classic look of the revolver--have some kind of simple mount point on either side of the barrel and include the light with the gun. Otherwise, those are some nice pieces you have there!
