So someone on another board pointed to this mislabeled Model 36 (no dash) auction at a pawn shops gunbroker store. I'm pretty darn happy with this one, only fault I can find is that the grips just aren't made for a lefty.

Very nice find! You did real good grabbing that one. The grips do look interesting. Any makers mark that doesn't show up in the pictures? I like the palm swell.

They're fuzzy farrants if I'm not very much mistaken. I paid less than I should have for the 36 alone so I'm quite happy with the package.

Waffles, I can share your joy! Just last month, off GunBroker I also took possession of a Model 36 (circa 1966-67). Mine went for $498 plus shipping and FFL fee. Unbeknownst to me, it came with its original box. Hope you enjoy your latest addition as much as I'm enjoying mine.

If I may, I'd like to show y'all my Chief's Special.

Thanks for looking at my little Chief's Special.

Hell of a find with the box. After shipping I'm in a little under $400 for mine, still trying to decide what to do with the grips. They're really neat, but as a lefty they're not super practical for me. At least I've got plenty of other grips in the gun bin.

The Farrants are pretty valuable. You would have no trouble selling them.
