This was my favorite show as a kid. I made a holster for a guy then used the money to buy this box set. I was worried that it would be corny now but it's still great. It's purposely farfetched and outlandish but that was the idea. My wife and I watched the first five episodes last night out of 85 hours. Robert Conrad carried a short barreled nickle Colt with ebony grips and a silver snake inlayed on both sides. Famed holster maker Andy Anderson made them as well as a walnut pair for Clint Eastwood. Maybe this show had something to do with me owning this Colt here. Watching these shows really sent me back to simpler carefree times of being a kid.

One of my favorites as a kid also. They had a lot of great recurring villains
that made it a lot of fun - pretty slick for it's time - nice to hear that it has held up well.

I recently bought all the episodes of Have Gun, Will Travel and Wanted, Dead or Alive. My wife did not remember either show. We enjoyed them, but we both thought Have Gun, Will Travel was the best of the two.

Good judgement. Usually a mid-life crisis consists of a Porsche, chest hair implants and an expensive wig.

I'm too young to remember it back in the day, but I did get to watch it in reruns every day after school when I was a teenager.

TV guide?

It just occurred to me that you have a really old original 15¢ TV guide from that same era in that shot - cool - how did that happen?

I like WWW too but right now the wife and I are enjoying The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.
Brisco, Bowler, Dixie and Comet are a real hoot. We usually get at least one belly laugh from each episode.

I used to play out scenes from that show when I was a kid. It's amazing how many dangerous traps a kid can find around the house to crawl under, around and over. Back in the days you needed an imagination instead of video games providing it for you.

Man....I loved that show!!! Thanks for the pics! Great lookin pistol and boxed set. I'm gonna go look for that boxed set as well. :D

I found that in an antique shop in Auburn Ca. about 15 years ago. It was around $5 I think. I had to have it for obvious reasons.
Here's the theme song to WWW:
"Dunt.Dunt dunt. Dunt dunt,DUNT, duntduntdunt."

I loved the Wild Wild West too. I was kinda' like if Batman & Robin lived back in cowboy days and had single action revolvers.

Seems to me you are a couple "dunts" short, but I haven't heard it in a long time. When I was in college is was in re-runs at 10:30 every night. I did a LOT of homework with that program playing in the background.

Maybe that's why I didn't amount to anything.

It was a cool show. I especially liked the villains played by Michael Dunn (Dr. Miguelito Loveless) and Victor Bueno.

That would be a cool set of DVD's to have. I'd also like to have the complete set of Love American Style and, as ashamed as I am to admit it, Fantasy Island and Love Boat.

Very couragous for you to mention liking those shows. Charles Nelson Reilly was on Love American Style a lot and was very annoying and hillarious.
I'll recount the "dunts" when I put on WWW again today.

I just picked up the 1st season of "The Deputy" from the 1950's which co-starred Henry Fonda. I've watched the first couple of episodes and seems to be pretty good. I've already been through all three seasons of "Wanted: Dead or Alive" on DVD.

I just made the same purchase. If that qualifies as a mid-life crisis, then I should see at least 106....I'll take it. I always loved the amazing gadgets from that show.

I won a radio contest one time because I knew that Happy Days began as a short on Love American Style. Another worthless trivia gem is that the original theme song for that show was sung by the Cowsills.
