Im digging through some storage units and came across this old piece I bought in the early 1990s and thought I'd share.

Saw it at a gun show and Clinton was running for President so I figured it was a now or never situation. If I remember correctly it cost me under $500, with the preban 30 round mag. Such a deal!

It's an interesting gun and I have been told it was first AR style pistol.
This model was used in the movie Clear and present danger back in 1994.

It's fun to shoot and can group in a 3" circle at 30 feet..but the best part is the HUGE muzzle flash and report.

It may be the only "legal" one in this state..which an't saying much in a positive way..:(

I think Ill put it in a more accessible place for now..:)

Olympic Arms made some configuration ARs…you could order an original spec 1:14" rate of twist barrel and others. They built for me an M4 type in .45 ACP…it shot fantastic for years…until it didn't. Then they couldn't fix it.

That seemed to be a thing with Olympic Arms…their products worked until they didn't.

Considering I've only put 3-400 rounds through it so far it should last me a few lifetimes. :)

It's actually pretty fun to shoot. I use to have a carbon15 pistol but talk about a short lifespan. Not everything innovative is "better".

Personally, I've never had a problem with my Oly Arms PCR-00. I bought this A2-style carbine during the Clinton Assault Weapons ban...although I've tricked it out a little, it still has the original 20" barrel and fixed flash hider. It's been a dependable and accurate shooter, and I've never had any issues with it. I understand that some folks had mechanical problems and issues with Customer Service, but fortunately I'm not one of them. Enjoy your OA-93!
