Hello folks! hope everybody is doing fine today, as for me well i'm quite happy, just got this new 442 earlier today, i had a ruger LCR w/ct grips on layaway but i still owe like 240 , so went to the shop and checked out if they have any thing new and wala! they just got a shippment of SW so I decided to just go with these 442 instead of the LCR, just added 50 bucks out the door, so here it is..man this thing is so nice to carry, very light..

I found the LG-405 laser grips for mine at Trophy's Hunting Gear for just over $200. Very comfortable to shoot and doesn't add any bulk for CCW.

I carried a 442 as an off-duty gun for several years, and was very happy with it. Mine had the dreaded IL, but I never had any problems with it.

Great Gun....I put a set of old takeoff wood grips on mine and it comes out of my pocket a lot easier. The rubber one's seem to be a bit grippy to me.

Great photos! My 642 fits almost anywhere including "docker" type pants pockets, and it doesn't print thru the pleated pocket front.

I've put the original type wood grips on. Not too comfy for shooting, but it's a "carry a lot and shoot seldom" rig anyway...

MGO,

You might want to try a Tyler grip adapter with your 642. I have a set on my Model 66 and they make a huge difference.

Best of luck,

Dave
