My new 9mm Springfield Armory EMP

Back on the 13th of December 2024 I posted a thread on a new Series 70 Colt .45 ACP and mentioned that I had also recently purchased two 1911s chambered for 9mm. This gun has a 3" barrel with integral feed ramp as I've attempted to show in the following two photos:

This pistol came from the factory with the ambidextrous safety, and other than a way too heavy trigger pull, was good to go right out of the box! :)

The only thing that keeps me from getting a new EMP is they changed to just a stamped EMP lettering on the slide. I’m probably in the minority, but I like the old style. Congratulations on your purchase.
