Put this gun in the layaway at cabelas Feb 28th for my birthday April 27th. I couldnt wait that long to get it out. Got her home today and put all the new parts on it I had been buying. I can't wait to shoot it.

Looks really nice! I have my grocery list ready for the gun show this weekend. Hopefully it won't be a bust with high prices and cheap knock offs.

My wife neglected to tell me that my magpul enhanced rubber butt-pad came in the mail today. I think she did it on purpose to get me to go shoe shopping with her. lmao.

LOL. Did she get new shoes? If she did, then a little reciprocity is in order. Might I suggest a MagPul Scout Mount for your handguard?
Coincidentally, a S&W Micro90 light fits, and is well positioned for thumb operation.
Or maybe a MagPul B.A.D. lever...or a B.C.M. gunfighter charging handle....

Great suggestions on accessories, I had been looking at magpul B.A.D lever along with the magpul scout mount but couldn't determine to get the left or the right mount. How do u determine that for the scout mount? Oh by the way, three pairs of shoes for the wife does equal more magpul accessories. Lol

3 pair of shoes = 1 B.A.D. Lever + 1 Scout Mount, + Light
I'm right handed. I chose the left side scout mount (11 O'Clock) for my weak hand grip. Worked out well.

I went to and outdoor range this weekend and shot my sport for the first time. 200rds later = a flawless performance. I was very happy with everything, money well spent for my first AR.
