I just purchased two Model 41s. A new model (5.5 inch barrel) and a used model ( 7 3/8" barrel. It looks exactly like yours, flash suppressor, second barrel weight, both magazines and in great condition) -- serial number 1966XX. That's some time after 1974 (based on a notice of a parts/service price increase stamped on the owner's pamphlet).
I love to shoot both. However, it's obvious that the older guy is nicer to shoot. It's lighter and smoother.
My used gun still has the original box. It still had the price tag from a local sporting goods store that has since gone out of business. The original price was $129. I paid $900. Based on my satisfaction with the used gun and compared to the price of the new gun, I think $900 was a reasonable price. How does that compare to what you paid?
