I finally got my model 60-9 2.125" .357 magnum. I had one once upon a time and foolishly sold it about twelve years ago - one of my biggest regrets gun-wise. It's perfect for IWB EDC and packs a huge punch. I shot ten rounds of magnums today and it functions flawlessly. Tight lockup and very accurate. Here are some pictures. Sorry about the lighting being not so great.

Got one myself, from a forum member, and love it. A treat to shoot after the airweights. Nice looking unit, have fun!

Twenty years ago I ask a friend who was knowlageable about EDC what gun he would get if he could have only one. His response was a M 60, I started my search and a few months later I bought one standing in line at a local gun show, unfired in the box a 60-9 at a very reasonalble price. I went to the range at first opertunity and fired it so I would not be tempted to sell and reap the quick profit from an unfired LNIB. Still in the rotation today for EDC and the longest owned hand gun I have. Have since added a 60-10 to the group, M 60's my favorite S&W's.

I have the LadySmith model, identical except for finish. Wonderful carry piece. May I recommend the 110gr .357 JHP loads for carry? The steel frame permits follow-up shots which are VERY difficult with the airweight 340s.
