Traded for a Walther 99c and I'm happy as a clam.
Had it to the range yesterday and it shot just like it should. (I do think I'll put the larger backstrap on, however.)
Have one question: So it's cocked and the little red button is visible. Start the trigger press and there's virtually no resistance until it "hits" and clicks into the AS "stop." (So far, so good.)
Now, continue to squeeze trigger to get it to go bang...and there's a HALF INCH of takeup before the second "stop" and then a 5 1/2 pound pull and it goes bang. Once I got used to the takeup (I'd been shooting an M&P 2.0 in .45) it was not problem. But...
Is that much takeup...from the AS stop 'till the trigger break normal? Seems like a lot but as I have nothing to gauge it against so I can't tell. I can feel the spring being stretched between the AS stop and the wall....and it's the perfect fit for IWB carry for me and my hand size. Practice will get me comfortable with the way it shoots...but I'm wondering.
