I bought these stag grip panels from Patrick Grashorn (aka the "Executioner") a few years ago. The front sight is a custom Dave Klotz "Lumi-Site". Fluorescent pink glows in the dark. Dave was the head gunsmith at Solvay Home & Outdoor Center in Solvay, N.Y. They were an authorized S&W warranty repair center. Long gone. I have had this gun since 1986 when GP-100s were first introduced.

Here are a few Rugers and a Bond derringer (and knives) with stag grips.

Colt Officer's Model, series 80. This pistol was acquired when the local WM, in my hometown, closed out its handgun line entirely. It was acquired at WM's cost, $185.00, in 1986. This pistol has been my daily carry since that date and the stag grips were added in the 90's.

The accuracy of this Officer's Model is very impressive. I still have the box and docs, along with the original, black, wooden grips with Colt Rampart inserts.

That looks great. I like the blued model. Mine is a great gun but stainless.

Golphin, when I bought my GP-100 the stainless version had not been introduced yet. I may have went for the stainless version but I'm happy with the blue. It has held up well with minimal maintenance.
